Qualified and Experienced Staff

The college is privileged to have a band of well experienced and committed Faculties who can impart quality education and provide a healthy academic environment to the students. six of its faculty members are Doctorate holders and three have registered for the Doctorate degree.

Excellent Teaching-Learning Facilities

Well-furnished Classrooms with modern facilities, A. V. Room, Seminar Hall with Smart Boards and other ICT-enabled Learning Centres. The three computer Laboratories situated in different blocks of the college campus, Language Laboratory, Commerce Laboratory and Science Laboratories provide a conducive ambience for learning and research.

Fee Concession

The students who secure 95% of marks and above in the qualifying examinations will receive 100% fee exemption. Those who score more than 90% and less than 95% marks will get 50% of fee concession. This fee exemption and fee concession will be only at the time of admission to First degree course.

Remedial coaching

Compulsory remedial coaching is given to slow learners. This scheme is free of cost to the students and is financed by UGC.

Mentoring System

This system has been introduced to establish a better and effective student-teacher relationship and guide the students in Academic matters.

• All teachers work as Mentors to the students alloted to them. Students will have to go and meet their Mentor atleast once in a month for guidance. The students must feel free to confide in their Mentors, their Academic problems.
• The students will have to meet the Mentors when they are called for.
• The students should take the prior permission of the Mentor before they absent themselves from classes. They have to submit a leave note for the absence for a period / day / days to the Mentor. The condonation of shortage of attendance will be recommended on the basis of leave records and recommendation of Mentor.
• The Mentor will note the performance of the students in tests and examinations and also the behaviour of their wards.
• The Principal will recommend the name of students for Fee Concessions, Free ships, free mid-day meal and for Annual and Public Examinations, on the basis of the reports of Mentor.

Science Laboratories

Well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology Laboratories are housed in spacious, well lit and well ventilated halls. The Zoology Laboratory has an attractive Zoology Museum too.

Computer Laboratory

To keep pace with the modern times, three well-equipped computer laboratories have been set up.

English Language Laboratory

The college has a language laboratory equipped with computers having software to train the students in the English language. Lessons on pronunciation and grammar are imparted to the students who enroll for communicative English course and global skills enhancement course.

Commerce Laboratory

A Commerce Laboratory has been set up utilizing the UGC fund for conducting a certificate course in Rural Marketing. ERP-SAP classes are also conducted online in the laboratory.

Computer Centre with Internet facility

A full-fledged computer centre has been established with internet facility to enable the students to keep in touch with the global information and acquire knowledge.
